Mommy Mommy

Standing in line for my Saturday morning ritual of Bagels and Coffee.  A mom and her 3 year old daughter are standing in front of me.  The little girl in her jammies and sneakers and still trying to blink the sleep out of her eyes,  is munching on a vanilla doughnut with sprinkles on it.  She is carefully eating only the top portion with the sprinkles and icing.  She turns toward a shelf below the display case about her eye level...looks astonished, points and yells.."Bread Momma!"  Loaves of bread neatly lined up in succession really seemed to peak her interest.  "Yes honey bread" her mom said.  Then the toddler handed her mom the uneaten sprinkle-less doughnut bottom.....That made my Bagel run a little less mundane and was my VU from the street this morning.
